Bali, Indonesia

What better way to start an A to Z list of unearthly-looking places than with Bali? Bali the city of ghosts, is one of the most iconic landmarks of Asia and not just Indonesia. The phantasmal city of ghosts, features the most majestic centuries-old architecture, set against surreal and exotic backdrops. Bali’s highlands and coasts are also home to many ancient temples.

When East Meets East: Although the Korean presence in Indonesia goes back to several decades, the young Korean artist Seung Hoon Park, decided to pay tribute to this alliance in this spectacular mosaic. The artist produces visually fascinating compositions where a fragmented world comes together in complex arrangements. Floating on the Mekong or walking along the river is a remarkably agreeable experience, especially early in the morning, when everything is covered in mist and you can see just a few boats moving in absolute silence.
