This hand-made marble art mosaic reproduction of a well-known painting "The Birth of Venus" by Alexandre Cabanel. Beautiful masterpiece embodies the ideals of academic art in its careful modeling polished surface finish and mythological subject. Our artist created mosaic out of only natural stones and art tiles and kept original magnificent spirit! The Birth of Venus is a painting by the French artist Alexandre Cabanel. It was painted in 1863 and is now in the Musee d'Orsay in Paris. A second and smaller version from ca. 1864 is in Dahesh Museum of Art. "
